Division Information
PACCAR Parts operates a network of parts distribution centers offering aftermarket support to Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF dealers and customers around the world. Aftermarket support includes customer call centers operating 24 hours a day throughout the year and technologically advanced systems to enhance inventory control and expedite order processing.

Requisition Summary
By joining our growing PACCAR Parts distribution team, you will play a key role in our World Class Supply Chain!  Responsibilities include accurate order picking, efficient stocking, quality packing, and expedited shipping. All work is done in an Industry-leading, high-speed distribution environment that ensures our Kenworth and Peterbilt dealers outperform their competition in delivering Uptime to end customers.

LOCATION: Rockford, IL

  • SHIFT: Monday – Friday | 3:00pm – 11:00pm or 11:00pm – 7:00am  
  • Competitive starting pay rate ($20.20 hourly) with performance based pay rate increases every six months for your first 30th month of service!

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Receiving – Accurately and productively verifies delivery bills and verifies product received. Identify compliance issues such as; overages, shortages damaged product, packaging issues and incorrect parts. Matches bar code stocking tag with corresponding parts.
  • Stocking – Accurately and productively stocks material in appropriate locations considering quantity, size, weight, volume and type of product.
  • Order Picking – Accurately and productively process customer orders selecting specified part quantities from assigned inventory locations including radio frequency. Matches bin part numbers with computer order number.
  • Packing – Accurately and productively consolidates individual customer orders, properly packing items ensuring product will not be damaged in transit to the customer. Rough carpentry performed occasionally.
  • Shipping – Accurately and productively prepares preliminary shipping documenting weight, piece count and freight classification of all product.  Ship customer orders as routed loading shipment on appropriate carrier.
  • Assists in the training of other employees. 
  • May perform other duties such as, maintenance of stocking locations, cycle counting, not-in-stock research, pre-packing, etc.

 Qualifications & Skills

•    High School Diploma or GED required
•    Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
•    Ability to withstand heights up to 30 feet
•    Commitment to safety and safe operation all distribution center power equipment.
•    Reliable with a strong history of good attendance
•    Willingness to be cross-trained and rotate through all warehouse functions as business needs require.  
•    Experience operating warehouse power equipment safely.
•    Possess basic problem solving, and basic math and number recognition skills. 
•    Ability to react to change productively. Team player.
