Requisition Summary

The Peterbilt Warranty Department is seeking a Warranty Return Center Manager in Renton, Washington to manage a team of warranty technicians testing components replaced under PACCAR warranty guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background in inspiring and managing employees while leading them to meet department and divisional goals.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a high performing team, which includes supervising, personnel development, team building, workload management and tracking progress
• Proactively work with Engineering, Warranty, Service, and PACCAR Parts network on solutions to improve customer uptime
• Prepare status reports and other detailed reporting, as directed
• Demonstrated professional and successful communication skills (verbal/written) with strong, effective interpersonal abilities
• Present to Peterbilt and Kenworth Senior Management with clarity and confidence
• Some travel required

Qualifications / Skills

• Supervisory or managerial experience
• Knowledge and experience with PACCAR programs (PACCAR.NET / VOG / RMI / TCS)
• Experience with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Experience in working with suppliers
• Outstanding organizational, planning and tracking skills
• Creative approach to identifying solutions and problem solving
• Product knowledge of both engine and vehicle systems preferred
• Knowledge of warranty systems and processes preferred
• Lean Belt desired
• Ability to respond with diplomacy and tact

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree Required; Master’s Degree preferred
