Position Overview:
Kenworth Warranty is seeking a proactive and results-driven Warranty Quality & Improvement Supervisor to lead initiatives that enhance warranty processes, ensure compliance with quality standards, and drive continuous improvement within the warranty department. The ideal candidate will leverage data analytics, Six Sigma methodologies, and innovative technologies such as Artificial Intelligence to optimize warranty operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Identify, recommend, and implement process improvement and waste reduction strategies within the warranty department, utilizing Business Intelligence tools and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ensure department compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and lead audit and/or recertification activities.
- Lead warranty audit activities, ensuring dealership adherence to Kenworth policies and procedures.
- Manage accessibility, consolidation, and revision control of warranty policies to uphold quality assurance.
- Oversee communication of policy changes for Kenworth dealerships.
- Lead the Kenworth warranty effort to leverage Artificial Intelligence as a tool to assist Warranty Claims Analysts.
- Benchmark competitors and stay up to date on current industry practices to ensure Kenworth delivers The World’s Best warranty experience.
- Strengthen warranty cost control measures to detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
- Provide world’s best support to our Dealers and Fleet Customers on a regular basis.
- Manage a small team to drive and champion quality improvement initiatives across the department
- Interface with ITD, Peterbilt, PACCAR Parts, and Corporate Purchasing to support department goals.
- Travel as needed to Dealer/Fleet/Production locations as needed (≤10% travel required).
Skills/Competencies
- Continuous improvement mindset with a proven record of success implementing solutions to complex issues.
- Ability to maintain positive, productive relationships despite conflicting agendas.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically strong Excel skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on both quality and efficiency.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise independent judgement are required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing or related field required. Master’s Degree preferred.
- 7+ years of related experience required.
- Experience in automotive or heavy-duty vehicle OEM warranty strongly preferred.
- Six Sigma green belt certification preferred.

Additional Job Board Information
At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for the Warranty Quality Improvement Supervisor is $100,100 - $156,600 annually. This position is also eligible for a holiday gift. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
