Division Information
PACCAR’s Information Technology Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice and data communications services to the entire Corporation, which has high visibility in the technology sector.
Requisition Summary
You will get to be part of a team that focuses on software delivery for our PACCAR Trucks! PACCARs’ Information Technology Division, which serves both Kenworth and Peterbilt, has an opening for a Vehicle Software Delivery Technical Project Coordinator. This individual will provide technical and project management support across our application development and test engineering teams. This collaborative work will help to ensure we release a high-quality application that delivers software for our current and next generation Heavy and Medium Duty truck programs, including Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV).
This position is in Renton, WA and has a hybrid work model.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Coordinate Hardware in the Loop (HIL) Electronic Control Unit (ECU) testing schedules and requirements with team members across multiple PACCAR divisions and communicate overall status
- Participate in daily triage meetings
- Host go/no go meetings to show successful testing of our aftermarket service tester application to facilitate deployment
- Provide Tier 3 support and troubleshooting for our aftermarket customers including dealerships and independent service providers, in support of our Dealer Services Group and Vehicle Support Center.
- Actively coordinate and collaborate with Business Analysts, Program Managers, and other stakeholders regarding project hardware requirements, scope, budget, and timelines
- Plan and execute a hardware procurement strategy with a long-term roadmap in mind
- Manage risks, issues, and impediments in a project and escalate in a timely manner

Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience supporting technical software and/ or hardware testing teams
- 1+ years of Project Management experience
- Strong computer skills including project management tools, word processing, flowchart/modeling, presentation, and spreadsheets
- Strong organizational skills and willing to learn and use new quality processes and techniques
- Resourceful in solving complex technical problems and adaptability toward changing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work effectively in a team environment with little or no supervision
Preferred
- Experience in automotive and embedded engineering
- Thorough understanding of software quality assurance and quality control techniques and software development lifecycles
- Experience in Agile methodologies
Education
- Bachelor's Degree required (Computer Science /Engineering or related field preferred)

The salary range for the Vehicle Software Delivery Project Engineer is $80,800 - $126,600 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for a full range of benefit options listed above.
