Division Information

PACCAR’s Information Technology Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice and data communications services to the entire Corporation, which has high visibility in the technology sector.

Requisition Summary

The Teamcenter system at PACCAR is used for product, process, and service engineering which is integrated with various connected systems including SAP for production order execution.

*This position is located in Renton, WA. and is an onsite position*

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • The Teamcenter Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Sustaining and enhancement activities for Teamcenter Unified Architecture

  • Starting/stopping Teamcenter/T4S component services

  • TC code propagation, build and production deployment experience

  • Implementing subsequent product releases/patch upgrades

  • Customizations for a 4-Tier Teamcenter environment

  • Working with customers to define, design and propose alternative solutions in response to changing business needs

  • Enhancing applications, troubleshooting and providing system administration, which includes on call responsibility

  • Testing and troubleshooting Teamcenter related server/4-Tier client problems

  • Creating/updating batch job scripts and schedules

  • Teamcenter environment data refreshes

  • Managing access rules, permissions, user accounts, groups, and roles

  • Maintaining Teamcenter Gateway for SAP (T4S)

  • Gathering user requirements and perform business process analysis.

  • Travel 10% or less domestically and internationally.

  • On call availability 24/7.


  • 3+ years of Teamcenter related experience required.

  • Experience with Siemens Teamcenter or experience with other PLM products

  • Experience with application servers (Weblogic, etc.)

  • Experience with PLMXML and XML

  • Experience with Teamcenter Multisite configuration

  • Experience with Business Model development using BMIDE preferred

  • Experience with ITK applications preferred

  • Experience with TCRA

  • Experience with T4S

  • Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and with minimal supervision

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Highly self-motivated and flexible


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field strongly desired, but will consider related job experience as well
