TRP Product Manager Job

Requisition Summary

This position is responsible for identifying, evaluating, qualifying, and launching new TRP programs into the market. You will work closely with PACCAR global supplier quality and purchasing teams through the supplier selection and sourcing process. Collaborates with Product Marketing on the continuous improvement of the supplier selection and program launch process. This position assists in improving existing TRP programs by working with current suppliers on scorecard improvements, warranty and cost reductions. 
Job Functions / Responsibilities
•    Develop and manage existing Best Sourced Country (BSC) program opportunities, including product validation, packaging, labeling, and logistics.
•    Analyze potential BSC aftermarket programs by completing product definition, warranty analyses and other program development documents.
•    Collaborate with Product Marketing on the continuous improvement of the supplier selection and program launch process.
•    Reviews and analyzes competitive market data & competitor trends.
•    Collaborates with BSC suppliers to resolve performance issues and achieve program objectives.
•    Manages other elements of existing BSC programs.
•    Reviews Supplier Scorecards and develop improvement plans for underperforming suppliers 
•    Coordinates and collaborates with other departments throughout PACCAR to achieve program objectives.

Basic Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree
•    Three or more years’ experience in a commercial role such as Project/Program Management, Buying/Purchasing, Marketing or Sales
•    Product knowledge and experience in aftermarket sales and distribution preferred.
•    Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results, self-starter and self-directed
•    Experience with business analysis and expertise in Excel
•    Proven negotiating skills, influencing abilities and vendor management experience
•    Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration
•    Up to 15% travel required


Preferred Qualifications
•    Masters Degree 
•    Prior business experience working with global markets desired
•    Experience with end-to-end product launches
•    Six Sigma Training
•    Experience handling data request using SQL
