Requisition Summary

Support training events for Kenworth & Peterbilt dealer personnel that support sales growth.  These events include PACCAR Parts personnel, supplier partners and dealer parts and service personnel. Recommended events include on-site PACCAR Parts trainings and online courses.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Event Planning:  Assist and participate in the selection process for events based on meeting space requirements, availability and site inspection of venue.
  • Event Management:  Provide support and assistance in the management and execution of training events for Kenworth, Peterbilt and TRP dealer personnel that support sales growth. 
  • Seminar/Content Management:  Support and coordinate development of training content for dealer online, print, and classroom training programs.
  • Perform miscellaneous project work and other duties as assigned.



Qualifications & Skills

  • Working toward degree in Business, Marketing/Communications, Education or Human Resources
  • Experience in meeting/event planning/management, developing and delivering training content (3-5 years desired)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including creation of formal presentations. 
  • Confident in your ability to present to audience sizes from 25 – 300 attendees.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to effectively interface with multiple departments and organizations including senior management levels.
  • Strong PC skills to include Word, Excel, Access and Power Point.
  • Attitude of continuous improvement and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Travel as required.  Minimum 30% travel.
  • Spanish language both oral and written desired.
