Division Information

PACCAR’s Information Technology Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice and data communications services to the entire Corporation, which has high visibility in the technology sector.

Requisition Summary

PACCAR ITD (Information Technology Division) is looking for a System Administrator /Senior Systems Administrator to administer existing infrastructure as well as architect and build new web environments.  The ideal candidate will have proven experience supporting and growing enterprise-wide SharePoint Online, applications and web farms. 

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Sustain and enhance PACCAR’s web hosting environments.  Monitor and lead improvements to system performance and stability.

  • Provide second-level operational support for incidents requiring effective interaction with business divisions, dealers and Information Technology operational personnel to support analysis, troubleshooting and resolution.

  • Configure and deploy applications into Intranet, Internet, Extranet, and SharePoint web farms and provide monitoring and operational support to the application owners.

  • Maintain and enhance identity and access management solutions.

  • Perform SharePoint administration and system optimization.

  • Maintain architecture diagrams and participate in reference architecture documentation development.

  • Demonstrate continuous learning through technical training, business and technical cross training as well as research and development.

  • Complete project assignments and perform other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Possess strong working knowledge of:

  • Load balancing and high availability technology; BigIP, LTM or similar

  • Virtualized computing environments – VMWare, AZURE or similar

  • Operating systems and concepts; Windows Server 2016/9, IIS, .NET Framework, SSL Certificates, Certificate Authentication, Security, and DNS

  • Microsoft SharePoint Online Power User

  • Scripting languages; PowerShell, and Batch Command

  • Network protocols; HTTP, HTTPS and TCP/IP

Understanding of:

  • Visual Studio Team Services

  • FTP, ICMP and SMTP

  • Proxy: WAP

  • Cloud hosting: Azure

  • Federation: ADFS, SAML, Oauth

  • Languages and Constructs; HTML, XSLT, CSS, ASP.NET, C#,  T-SQL, JSON and XML

  • Network tools; NETMON and HTTP traffic analysis tool (i.e. Fiddler)

  • ITIL

Education

Bachelor's degree strongly desired
