Division Information

 

PACCAR Parts is the global provider of aftermarket parts and services to support Kenworth, Peterbilt, DAF and TRP dealers around the world.  This includes 18 distribution centers globally that support 2,200 dealerships and over 1,000,000 customers.  Aftermarket support includes world class customer centers that deliver industry leading uptime in conjunction with our outstanding supply chain that delivers record levels of inventory availability for dealers and customers. 

Requisition Summary

The Senior Logistics Analyst is responsible for supporting, evaluating, and executing logistics plans for PACCAR Parts. The role provides support for PDC initiatives, resolves freight specific issues for dealers and PDC’s, manages freight claims, and outstanding carrier invoices. Grade and salary will be dependent upon experience with data analysis, leadership and project management.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

•    Support dealers in resolving freight specific issues including freight loss, damage recovery, and billing corrections.
•    Support suppliers with specialized carrier movement and carrier related issues, including freight claims and billing corrections.
•    Audit carrier freight bills with exceptions, process bills for payment based off contractual freight rates, and actively resolve the root causes of exceptions.
•    Responds to new and changing business requirements with cost effective strategies and processes.
•    Collaborate with key personnel in Operation, Sales, MDI, Customer Service, and Marketing to achieve division growth and performance targets.
•    Evaluate and optimize freight associated with all programs through ongoing analysis to ensure success.
•    Lead and support Six Sigma process improvements to enhance productivity, logistics metric visibility, reduce transit time, and optimize freight costs.
•    Develop and maintain metrics, processes, and documentation to achieve division performance goals.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor Degree in Business or related field required
•    Minimum 2 years professional work experience, preferably in analytical and supplier/carrier management functions.  1-2 years of analytical reporting preferred.
•    Logistics experience preferred
•    Intermediate Excel and Access skills required
•    Tableau and Snowflake experience a plus
•    Strong mathematical skills a plus
•    Excellent interpersonal and issue resolution skills
•    Project Management Skills
•    Six Sigma Trained
•    Knowledge of truck parts and components
