PACCAR's Information Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice and data communications services to the entire Corporation, which has high visibility in the technology sector.

Requisition Summary

The Senior Integration Developer is responsible for project-based integration development implementations that include APIs, BizTalk Applications, and future integration technologies. Also accountable for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting existing production integration solutions for PACCAR.  This position will also serve in a leadership position, planning and architecting various aspects of the API/BizTalk development and coordinating and collaborating with the Mainframe System Programmers, SAP Application Administrators, Integration Platform Administrators, Server Administrators, Application Developers, and Database Administrators.

Job Functions/Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert for PACCAR Development and design of APIs and BizTalk Applications (Apigee and BizTalk 2020)
  • Research integration technology solutions and recommend initiatives in support of PACCAR’s integration infrastructure investment roadmap
  • Led the design and implementation of the enterprise integration platform, working with division counterparts to ensure a global solution
  • Led the design and implementation of project-based integration solutions by PACCAR standards, the approved integration roadmap, and industry best practices
  • Provide timely resolution for integration-related production issues, including root cause analysis
  • Mentor other integration developers and application developers
  • Implement and maintain security following company security policies
  • Create and maintain procedures and standards
  • Develop and maintain an integration component inventory
  • Research, develop, and oversee integration governance best practices
  • Follow the change management procedures and policies
  • Provide on-call rotational support and issue resolution, as needed

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of multidisciplinary architecture experience with a medium to large organization, preferably in a systems architect or similar engineering role
  • 2+ years of Technical Lead experience desired
  • Demonstrated experience designing and developing enterprise integration solutions using APIs and BizTalk.
  • Working knowledge of software development methodologies and end-to-end software development lifecycle
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) methodologies and platforms including Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) 
  • Demonstrated experience developing integrations and managing Application Servers using the following technologies: APIs, BizTalk, .NET Services.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting web services and web apps using some of the following technologies: XML, XSLT, XSD, .NET, WCF, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax.
  • Experience with a variety of communication protocols such as TCP, HTTP, SOAP, FTP and MSMQ
  • Experience using application tools like GitHub, Postman, Visual Studio
  • Knowledge of Apigee/Mulesoft or AWS Gateway platforms is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and guidance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all layers of business and management, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of the truck or automotive business desired

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or related field is required

Physical Demands

  • This is an office position in an open cubical setting.  It requires long periods of sitting and good manual dexterity for computer data entry.

Additionally, this role is eligible for a full range of benefit options listed above. This position is also eligible for a holiday gift.
