Division Information
PACCAR’s Information Technology Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice and data communications services to the entire Corporation, which has high visibility in the technology sector.
Requisition Summary
The Security Operations Analyst may work in several areas including: managing Active Directory objects such as users, computers and groups within pre-defined organizational units as defined by industry best practices and Security Analysts. They may also be responsible for managing firewall rules and policies as well as assisting in the administration of web and email gateways. The candidate will also assist in event and incident management processes including malware response and investigation. The analyst will also take part in security training and assist in the development of enterprise security standards and best practices. Other duties will include providing security guidance to business and IT stakeholders throughout the enterprise.
Work is done both in team and individual contributor roles. The pace of work is fast and can change quickly based on current security risks. Thus, the qualified individual must be flexible and able to manage multiple tasks. They must also be willing and eager to learn new and emerging technologies and skills, both while at work and on their own time. The analyst will be required to be on call according to a set schedule and be willing to quickly respond to security and operational incidents when called upon.
Job Functions/ Responsibilities
The Security Operations Analyst will provide identity and access management and perimeter security support that follows the PACCAR best practices and standards. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with Active Directory, firewalls or web and mail gateways. The ideal candidate is familiar with industry standard security practices and is eager to learn and implement new and exciting solutions.
The candidate will assist Global Information Security in the continued improvement of incident response and will assist in the assessment of new technology. The candidate will take an active role in ongoing Information Security and Security Operations projects and will be responsible for the implementation of set deliverables.
Qualifications
3+ year(s) of Experience in One or More of the Following:

Palo Alto Firewall and Panorama Administration

Palo Alto Security Architecture and Capabilities
-
Cisco ASA Administration
-
Managing a Virtualized Environment Utilizing VMWare ESXi
-
Active Directory Administration
-
Understanding of and Experience with Cloud Technologies

Working in a Technology Support Environment
-
Experience Monitoring and Working out of an Issue Ticketing System
-
Availability to Work “On-Call” 24 Hours/Day for Emergencies, and Flexibility in Schedule and Priority Demands.
Education

College Degree Strongly Desired
-
Technical College Diploma with 3+ Years of Experience

CISSP or Equivalent Certification Strongly Desired

Additionally, this role is eligible for a full range of benefit options listed above. This position is also eligible for a holiday gift.
