Division Information


PACCAR’s Information Technology Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice and data communications services to the entire Corporation, which has high visibility in the technology sector.


Requisition Summary


As a member of the SAP Competency Center, the SAP S4 Application Manager is responsible for the direction, planning and management of activities undertaken to support the SAP S4 Platform. The S4 Platform is the target system to replace legacy technology for Supply Chain and Finance. This position will be directing the work of Project managers, Functional Analysts, Developers, Security and Basis working with other department managers to ensure timely support and project execution.


Job Functions / Responsibilities


  • Drive strategic technology solutions by effectively collaborating with business leaders to design solutions to meet current and future business needs
  • Coordinate or prepare annual capital and operating budgets required for planning and expense control
  • Coordinate release dates associated with deliverables and track team on success
  • Participate in staff development and skills analysis
  • Establish goals and reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Travel 10% domestically and internationally




  • Demonstrated leadership skills and prior management responsibilities gained through 10+ years of related experience in progressively responsible roles.
  • Ability to dig into the details and understand domain area in depth while considering the vision for the landscape
  • Proven SAP experience on large implementation programs
  • Demonstrated skill in Enterprise Development
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor team members and skill in building motivated and collaborative teams 
  • Ability to negotiate priorities and timelines with business stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of Agile Development Practices and ability to lead / coach the teams
  • A Supply Chain and Finance background a plus



· Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field preferred
