PACCAR’s Information Technology Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice and data communications services to the entire Corporation, which has high visibility in the technology sector.

Requisition Summary

We are seeking an exceptional individual, someone ready to dive into the intricacies of our business and revolutionize our systems using SAP SuccessFactors. This role requires a proactive approach to develop top-notch solutions supporting various business units. The successful candidate will lead multiple projects, leveraging versatile skills in SAP SuccessFactors to drive excellence. 


As a SAP SuccessFactors Manager, you'll delve into problem-solving, translating business needs into functional specifications, coordinating technical support, and contributing to software and process innovations. You'll take charge of solution design, developing specifications, and delivering project-related outcomes. Additionally, post-implementation support and continuous system enhancements will be within your purview.


This role demands an individual capable of gathering, organizing, and analyzing information related to core technology, processes, and systems. You'll play a pivotal role in researching, resolving issues, and contributing to the efficiency and evolution of our systems landscape. This position is located in Renton, WA.

Job Functions/Responsibilities

  • Lead the configuration, implementation, and ongoing management of various SAP SuccessFactors modules, ensuring alignment with HR strategies and business objectives.
  • Manage support for ECC HCM (Enterprise Central Component Human Capital Management) alongside managing SuccessFactors modules, ensuring comprehensive oversight of the HR technology landscape.
  • Oversee system upgrades, releases, and patches for both SuccessFactors and ECC HCM, ensuring seamless functionality and minimal disruption to user workflows in both systems.
  • Collaborate closely with HR leadership to understand requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient solutions within the SuccessFactors environment, while also addressing standalone ECC HCM needs.
  • Develop employees within the team by mentoring, guiding, and leading them to enhance their skills and expertise in SAP HCM technologies.
  • Actively lead and manage teams, fostering a collaborative environment, and ensuring effective utilization of resources for successful project delivery.
  • Conduct regular system audits and quality checks for both platforms to maintain data accuracy, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalations, troubleshooting, and issue resolution related to both SuccessFactors and ECC HCM platforms.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements within both SuccessFactors and ECC HCM, providing recommendations for standalone system improvements and optimizations.
  • Up to 10% travel domestically and internationally.
  • On call availability 24/7.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • 5+ years of progressive experience in managing SAP SuccessFactors modules in a leadership capacity.
  • Expertise in configuring and administering various SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Employee Central, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Learning).
  • Deep understanding of HR processes and practices, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions within SuccessFactors.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and drive effective resolutions.
  • Proven project management skills with a successful track record of implementing enhancements and driving system improvements.
  • Agile software delivery experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

The salary range for the SAP Application Manager - SuccessFactors is $106,300 - $166,300 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for a full range of benefit options listed above.
