Requisition Summary

The TRP Program Manager is responsible leading a dynamic team in identifying, qualifying, and implementing TRP and Special Markets programs, TRP technical research, and TRP data analytics. This team works directly with all PACCAR Parts departments, PACCAR global supplier quality and purchasing teams through the supplier selection and sourcing process, including commercial term negotiations and onboarding suppliers to the PACCAR Parts network. The TRP Program Manager provides TRP product portfolio gaps recommendations for all makes and models of OEM’s, school busses and trailers through market research, competitor analyses and provides direction on how to fill identified gaps. 

 

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the TRP product portfolio and category lifecycle, identify opportunities and champion new programs to align with PACCAR Parts initiatives and goals
  • Collaborates with Product Marketing to identify what TRP and Special Markets parts and programs should be added to the TRP portfolio
  • Collaborates with global PACCAR Purchasing and Supplier Quality in the supplier evaluation and selection process
  • Identify and implement programs and strategies using Six Sigma tools
  • Travel domestic and internationally to interface with current and prospective suppliers to evaluate existing programs and develop new business opportunities

Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree with an emphasis in International Business, Business or Engineering
  • Prior commercial experience
  • Prior supplier quality experience
  • Prior experience working with international suppliers
  • Prior experience launching products and programs
  • Six Sigma Belt with DFSS or TDFSS experience desired
  • MBA a plus
  • Able to speak foreign language(s) a plus
  • Able to manage 10 - 15 projects at a time
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
