Requisition Summary

The Pricing Program Manager is responsible for optimizing price strategies on $5.9B in annualized product sales to exceed sales and margin objectives for PACCAR Parts North America.

The position manages a team of analysts that develop and optimize part price strategies by: Analyzing competitor benchmark pricing information obtained through web scrapping and other activities, recommending changes to product price strategies to optimize sales and margin adjusting to changing market prices, supplier costs, product life cycles and currency fluctuations between country markets and analyzing product changes related to new model programs to support perceived value pricing methodologies for PACCAR Proprietary and Genuine products. 

The team also manages the dealer monthly Price Books, Price Inquiry and Not-on-File processes and is responsible for improving quality and driving higher customer Uptime and productivity metrics through continuous improvement and waste elimination. 

Successful candidates will have: strong financial acumen, advanced data skills, an understanding of the heavy truck parts market, supply base, strong analysis skills to proactively identify margin enhancement opportunities and detect potential pricing errors, strong communication and collaboration skills and be comfortable working with customers in a demanding and fast-paced work environment.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Lead AI strategic pricing projects utilizing advanced machine-learning models, predictive analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize price positioning and improve margins. 
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop, sustain and enhance program price optimization strategies to drive sales and margin growth for $5.9B in product sales.
  • Direct, mentor and lead staff to conduct high value research, develop competitive benchmarks to enhance program prices consistent with PACCAR Brand positioning to support sales and margin growth.
  • Act as an expert with Servigistics software platform to leverage the tool for price optimization and efficient management of price strategies within the tool.
  • Manage and lead process improvements related to dealer price books, Not-on-File part elimination, promotional support, Supplier Information System functionality and other projects that improve customer Uptime, department quality and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain department performance metrics dashboard to drive record performance and continuous improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related field required (Master's degree preferred)
  • Five years of relevant experience required
  • Strong background in data-driven and AI-enabled pricing strategy
  • Experience leading teams to achieve high performance
  • Commercial experience in Purchasing, Product Marketing, Pricing or other related fields
  • Six Sigma Certification
  • Strong financial and mathematical orientation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills      
  • Servigistics or other leading pricing engine software experience
  • SQL language, AS400 / ASI System experience
  • MS Office Suite proficiency

Salary Range:
At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for this position is $104,100.00 - $146,630.00 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
