Division Information

PACCAR Parts is the global provider of aftermarket parts and services to support Kenworth, Peterbilt, DAF and TRP dealers around the world.  This includes 18 distribution centers globally that support 2,200 dealerships and over 1,000,000 customers.  Aftermarket support includes world class customer centers that deliver industry leading uptime in conjunction with our outstanding supply chain that delivers record levels of inventory availability for dealers and customers. 

Requisition Summary

This position is responsible for supporting North American Parts Distribution Centers (PDCs) by analyzing data for key business areas to include capital projects, quality, packaging, customer service and distribution production data. 

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Analysis and network information gathering of PDC production data, including building visual BI dashboards, to prioritize findings and develop new initiatives with Operations Support team.
  • Support Operations Analytics and Systems Manager in administration of Kronos, SIS, DCRM, AS400, Performance Management and any other systems that interact with the PDC network; including user permissions.  Actively pursue continuous improvement of system performance and effectiveness.
  • Reporting of PDC shipping errors, dealer claims, altered lines, statistical inventory accuracy metrics. Assist in data analysis for Operations support group including capital projects, quality, packaging, six sigma and PDC processes, including building tools to improve management of key metrics. 
  • Support Operations Analytics and Systems Manager with PPD IT Projects. Gather feedback from PDC network and dealers on requirements, develop user stories, execute testing of system enhancements and ensure business readiness for effective implementations for these projects.
  • Serve as Operations representative on the Business Intelligence Data Stewards Board. Incorporate Data Governance policies and standards in to business processes, communicate these changes to Operations network, and share issues/concerns with Data Governance Committee for prioritization. 
  • Preparation of Monthly PDC Performance Rating (PPR) Goals and Performance.
  • Support communication for accurate loading of cross-references for PPD part numbers and UPC cross-references.  Support dealer barcoding initiative for dealership efficiencies.    

Skills / Competencies

  • Proficiency in AS400 WH and other PDC hardware / software applications, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Word abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Two+ years experience in a professional office environment, preferably in a Distribution Center
  • Developed network of resources from all departments within PACCAR Parts. 


  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Data Management, Analytics or related area.
  • Two Years of Data Analytics Experience in a Professional Setting,
  • Two Years of Distribution Center Experience 
  • Familiarity or experience with Salesforce, Tableau, PowerBI, cloud storage and compute on Azure or AWS
  • MBA or MS degree is a plus
  • Experience with TDFSS, DMAIC and LEAN Six Sigma principles required. Certified Six Sigma Lean Belt or Certitified TDFSS Belt is a plus
  • Experience with Agile Project Management is a plus, including Scrum Project Management.
