Requisition Summary

Join our award-winning communications team and develop exciting, high-profile content for print, digital, advertising, public relations and internal communication channels. Use your strong writing, editing, problem-solving, decision-making and research skills to promote PACCAR Parts, Kenworth, Peterbilt and TRP products and services. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, manage high-impact projects and assume a leadership role in a variety of marketing communication projects and programs.
 

Job Functions / Responsibilities
Understand the objectives and needs of the organization to develop communications strategies that influence public opinion and promote ideas, products and services.

  • Develop, write, edit and execute a wide variety of communications material for PACCAR Parts’ internal and external audiences, including―but not limited to―dealer publications, news releases, employee newsletters and annual report updates. 
  • Develop and implement communications and programs that drive employee engagement, culture, and inclusion.
  • Provide content support for social media, email campaigns and executive speechwriting.
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all PACCAR Parts communications channels.
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources, cross-functional teams, subject matter experts and vendors in the development of marketing communications materials. 
  • Apply strong communication and organizational skills to manage marketing communications projects. 
  • Analyze and report metrics on communication effectiveness.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or Advertising, or equivalent required
  • A minimum of two years professional communications experience with an emphasis on writing, editing and project management
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills to effectively manage projects and drive results
  • Ability to collaborate, interact and develop productive and professional relationships with all levels of PACCAR management, internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment 
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. 
  • Experience with Meltwater or other media monitoring platforms is a plus.
  • Writing samples are required - preferred published writing samples.

Salary Range:

At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for this position is $75,100 - $103,730 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
