Requisition Summary
Lead a staff of MDI Analysts toward attainment of departmental goals. Manage and evaluate current dealer inventory performance and work to promote change to support attainment of department and division goals. Promote dealer inventory health standards, while maintaining outstanding retail stocking availability and ensuring high levels of dealer participation in the MDI program. Displays a communicative and proactive leadership style and exhibits teamwork with other departments and within the MDI department.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Promote Dealer Network retail growth by working with Analysts to increase retail stocking availability and inventory turns, while decreasing emergency order percentages, forecast error, and retail surplus and obsolescence.
- Serve as MDI subject matter expert, and analyze dealer inventory position and metrics, and recommend corrective action within the supply chain.
- Champion and actively manage Continuous Improvement projects and Business Intelligence Projects by designing efficient solutions to promote further efficiencies within MDI.
- Act as a Technical Project Manager and identify information system solutions for various projects within MDI team, including but not limited to Upgrades, System enhancement, data warehousing and data visualization projects.
- Work to ensure that MDI participation rates remain high through attainment of MDI utilization goals.
- Develop employees through training, delegation, and the encouragement of personal development activities and actively participate in team strategy decisions, budget planning and recruiting.
- Show exceptional initiative in understanding customer business problems and developing forecasting parameters and business intelligence solution to solve those problems.
- Coordinate activities with marketing, sales, administration, customers, and suppliers as necessary to build exceptional customer relations and meet team goals.
Skills / Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field required, MBA desired
- Project Management, Product Management, or Inventory control experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years as a manager or supervisor experience and 2-3 years of PACCAR or relevant experience desired.
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills. Outstanding verbal, written communication and presentation skills are essential.
- Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL
- Six Sigma Experience
- Strong Negotiation skills
- JDA experience a plus.
- Able to travel up to 10%
Qualifications

Salary Range:
At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for this position is $93,000.00 - $145,500.00 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
