Requisition Summary

Perform a wide range of accounting and internal control functions for the Parts after-market organization with emphasis on SOX, internal controls (ICAP) and quarterly reporting.  This includes Parts offices in US, Canada and Mexico.  This position has one direct report and requires significant interaction with business partners and Leadership members.  

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Manage PACCAR Parts internal control program, including SOX, ICAP Reviews and Coupon Audits. 
  • Responsible for supervising, mentoring and motivating one internal control analyst.
  • Conduct quarterly and annual user access reviews and coordinate changes to existing, new and terminated employee access. 
  • Coordinate Ernst & Young reviews including: scheduling first and second half audits, main contract for questions, scheduling PDC stat audit reviews and schedule quarterly key control observations.
  • Work with Internal Audit to schedule audits, gather pre-work, assist with the actual audits and coordinate audit responses. 
  • Work with Corporate internal control team to report SOX status and findings, internal control program progress and training new employees on PACCAR’s internal control program.
  • Ensure Corporate, Division and local policies, procedures and internal controls are effective and operating.
  • Maintain effective communication as a member of the Controller Management team.

Qualifications

  • BS / BA in Accounting / Finance
  • Master's Degree or CPA strongly preferred, but not required
  • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing responsibility
  • Excellent analytical capabilities and attention to detail with a “big picture” focus   
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines and self-motivated
  • Understanding of US GAAP
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Access, and Power Point)
  • Must be able to travel periodically within the US and internationally
