Division Information

PACCAR Parts is the global provider of aftermarket parts and services to support Kenworth, Peterbilt, DAF and TRP dealers around the world.  This includes 18 distribution centers globally that support 2,200 dealerships and over 1,000,000 customers.  Aftermarket support includes world class customer centers that deliver industry leading uptime in conjunction with our outstanding supply chain that delivers record levels of inventory availability for dealers and customers. 

Requisition Summary

Provide aftermarket parts sales liaison engineering support for Kenworth and Peterbilt dealers, including conducting research related to major component aftermarket research projects, communicating the feasibility of performing major component changes and part substitutions, providing ongoing training of department personnel and has specific product knowledge.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Communicate with dealers and coordinate major component/part changeouts with Division engineering and various PACCAR Parts departments are required.
  • Plan and conduct research relating to major component aftermarket research projects.
  • Answer written and verbal information requests regarding the feasibility of performing major component changes and part substitutions.
  • Interpret drawings, blueprints and bill of materials relating to dealer inquiries/support.
  • Design and/or maintain a training program for department personnel on engineering related research projects.
  • Review all major departmental research projects prior to distribution to the dealer.
  • Technical contact for other PPD departments.



  • Degree in appropriate major desired
  • Expereince in Class 8 chassis bill of materials and blueprint reading with both Kenworth and Peterbilt.
  • 5 years related experience required.
  • Customer service skills
