Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Develop, negotiate, and implement strategies resulting in enhanced profitability, improved supply chain performance, lowest total cost, and broader aftermarket product offerings.
- Coordinate with PACCAR Purchasing and PACCAR Parts Product Marketing the development and execution of successful global commodity strategies.
- Conduct meetings and formal presentations with suppliers, PACCAR Purchasing and Aftermarket stakeholders at all management levels.
- Travel globally to suppliers and PACCAR locations to negotiate, evaluate capabilities, assess production readiness, and investigate new opportunities.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of purchasing, supply-chain, and/or PACCAR experience
- Experience in an aftermarket parts environment a plus
- Negotiation and strong analytical skills
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to details and multitasking ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative, self-motivated quality and results-driven work ethic
- Project management experience is preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field required. Graduate level degree (e.g. MBA) a plus.

We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for the Commodity Manager role is $84,000 - $131,700 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
