PACCAR Parts

PACCAR Parts is the global provider of aftermarket parts and services to support Kenworth, Peterbilt, DAF and TRP dealers around the world.  This includes 18 distribution centers globally that support 2,200 dealerships and over 1,000,000 customers.  Aftermarket support includes world class customer centers that deliver industry leading uptime in conjunction with our outstanding supply chain that delivers record levels of inventory availability for dealers and customers.

Requisition Summary

This position is responsible for managing the relationship between specific business partners and the technology systems these business partners utilize, including identifying new technical solutions to business problems and managing the implementation of those solutions.  The applicant will demonstrate the ability to understand and communicate business needs in order to analyze and develop technical solutions that meet these needs.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Manage the following for the PACCAR Parts assigned business unit(s): system project intake, prioritization, resource requests, project management, requirements gathering, quality assurance, and reporting status on small to large-size projects
  • Provide Business Analyst mentor guidance to system implementations managed by the business
  • Solutions may be custom-built applications or off-the-shelf applications depending on business requirements
  • Implementations may include the involvement of internal and/or external resources

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or applicable discipline required
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager or Systems Analyst required
  • Programming knowledge/skills a plus 
  • Demonstrate ability to generate technical solutions based on business needs
  • Strong knowledge of software delivery methodologies
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment with little or no supervision
  • Knowledge of supply chain management a plus
