Requisition Summary

PACCAR is a global truck technology leader with operations around the world, looking for a talented Dev Ops / Cloud Engineer for Analytics.

As a member of the elite Advanced Analytics Center of Excellence, you will help craft the strategy for, and then execute, Level-2 MLOps automation. This includes automated testing, validation, and monitoring of data, ML models, and endpoints. In addition, you will form the backbone of the teams' deployments, collaborating with top tier data scientists to ensure every unique analytics model is deployed in a way that will meet the needs of business stakeholders, while future proofing the deployment with an eye to scalability and reliability.

Professionalism, creativity, communication skills and adaptability are a must – model deployments are frequently done at the direct request of the CEO, and other C-suite or senior level positions within the company, with tens of millions of dollars on the line. As such, smooth deployments are vital to the teams’ success.

Further, the center of excellence is just that – a center of excellence. The MLOps solution you develop will be used by satellite analytics teams around the world and serve as a model for their eventual MLOps needs. The dependability, useability, documentation, and accessibility of your solution must be of the highest standards, so these data science teams can focus on the data science.

The analytics team embraces a collaborative approach with the rest of the Digital Services organization. This is necessary - as a newer department, utilizing cloud technologies and tools never seen at PACCAR, best practices and standards are still being developed.  YOU will help develop them, alongside some of the brightest minds in the company.

Come join this dynamic, growing and pioneering team!

Location: Preferably Renton, WA or open to remotely any U.S. or Mexico location.
