Division Information

PACCAR’s Information Technology Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice and data communications services to the entire Corporation, which has high visibility in the technology sector.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Create and encourage an ongoing understanding of agile methodologies and frameworks
  • Teach best practices and proven methodologies, implementing frameworks for measuring success and progress
  • Ensure goals are understood in support of larger business objectives
  • Ensure clear communication between and in teams, encouraging self-organization and information sharing
  • Leads workshops and training sessions to educate individuals on Agile values, principles, and practices
  • Instructs teams on problem solving techniques to identify organizational impediments to successful Agile transformation and works with the leadership team to create effective strategies to overcome them
  • Partners with other Leaders, OCM, and Talent Management and Delivery Teams to help influence an environment of consistency and transparency throughout the organization
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to assess the overall health of business agility and help them identify improvement opportunities
  • Coaches teams to assess, measure, document, and communicate progress against defined Agile/DevOps transformation goals


  • At least 5 years as an Agile practitioner, especially in a leadership or coaching role
  • 3+ years of working experience as an Agile Coach in fast moving tech environment
  • Guide Agile teams, shared services teams, systems teams, etc. to improve their ability to be predictive using right estimation and capacity planning techniques.
  • Considerable experience facilitating and leading meetings, seminars, or teaching events
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge and experience of Enterprise Cloud migrations, best agile practices for moving applications to the cloud
  • Working knowledge and experience with several Agile methodologies: Kanban, SCRUM, XP, SAFe and fluid
  • Working knowledge of best practices in user-centered design like user research, hypothesis-driven development, prototyping, usability testing
  • Strong working knowledge of technical engineering best practices including test driven development, continuous integration, DevOps
  • Technical acumen and understanding of Agile technical practices and how they operate within an Agile organization (CI, CD, XP, TDD, BDD etc.)


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • SPC5 Certification Requirement desired
  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) desired
  • ICAgile Credential desired
  • PMP, PgMP, Agile, or SAFe certifications desired
