Requisition Summary:

PACCAR India is hiring an Software Engineer to work as a contributor in automotive systems projects for medium/heavy duty vehicles. This position is for an Automotive Engineer with strong domain knowledge in automotive systems and proficiency in MATLAB and Python programming. The role involves contribution to automotive system development projects for medium/heavy-duty vehicles

Job Function / Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze project information to understand requirements.
• Support automotive system development activities across the V-cycle.
• Create and maintain databases, dashboards, and technical documentation.
• Ensure traceability and requirement coverage with test cases.
• Support validation, verification, and system analysis tasks.
• Contribute to MATLAB/Python-based tool development, automation, and data processing.

Qualification:

• BE/M.Tech in either Mechatronics/Electronics and Communication/Mechanical/Automobile

Required Skills:

• 3-6 years of related experience
• Domain: Automotive
• Primary Skill: Strong knowledge of automotive systems, proficiency in MATLAB and Python, Data analysis, Automation scripting, experience with ALM tools (e.g., ALM-QC)
• Knowledge of Automotive systems especially in IC Engine and Aftertreatment systems
• Secondary Skills: IBM DOORS (DNG), ASPICE knowledge(Good if has)
• Familiarity with personal computer software including project management tools, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Knowledgeable in the full process life-cycle software engineering development process for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with the Agile development process.
