Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to be a key player in establishing the talent management and experience function for HR at PACCAR India. The role will support the design of people practices & policies, set frameworks, and run the talent management processes such as goal setting, performance reviews, and drive engagement activities at the center.
As we grow the PACCAR India Operations, the HR function will play a critical role in establishing the people practices, the Global PACCAR culture and overall employee experience. This role provides an opportunity to be a key player in establishing the HR function for PACCAR'S growing engineering and IT arm in India.

The role requires extensive connects with employees, creating awareness of HR policies and practices, driving the onboarding and day 1 experience at PACCAR.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Support in the development and implementation of HR policies, in alignment to Global PACCAR practices
- Help facilitate effective communication surrounding performance expectations, ensuring that employees are informed and engaged in their performance journeys.
- Prepare communication materials and resources that assist managers in delivering constructive feedback and conducting performance discussions.
- Support talent management initiatives such as goal setting, performance reviews, identification of development needs and so on.
- Help managers and employees navigate the performance management system, ensuring they understand the processes and timelines
- Coordinate the performance review process by gathering and compiling performance data, feedback, and documentation for review meetings.
- Assist in the analysis of performance review outcomes to identify trends and recommend areas for improvement in talent development strategies
- Assist in the goal-setting process by providing templates, resources, and guidance to managers and employees to ensure clear alignment with organizational objectives
- Support and drive some projects for new people initiatives and overall employee experience
- Stay updated on HR trends, best practices, and employment laws.
- Manage any policy related queries or grievances and provide timely resolution.
- Work on research and development of policies for people and human resources management and provide such technical solutions that can help in achieving the employee initiatives and campaign goals
- Analyze performance metrics like statistics on employee retention and experience to come up with ideas for improvements and enhancements
- Develop employee recognition initiatives and appropriately engage managers to build a culture of appreciation
- Support the HR department in various functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training.
Knowledge & Skills REQUIRED:
- Overall 6 to 8 years' experience in HR policy & process management, employee engagement and onboarding areas
- 2+ years of strong experience in performance management
- Experience of designing HR policies, employee recognition initiatives and good knowledge of people practices across the industry
- Familiarity with HR processes and practices, including talent management, performance management, and employee data management.
- Good Knowledge and understanding on Talent Management practices such as Performance and Goal Management, LMS, Career Development Planning, Succession Planning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Good business knowledge of various HR processes and Talent management processes.
- Result oriented, dedicated, hardworking, can work on own initiative and deliver on time with a high level of integrity and flexibility, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards
- Fluent in English.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’ degree is required.

- Experience working on cross-functional project teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on drive and execution.
- Demonstrated diverse cultural understanding and comfortable working with global teams
