PACCAR WINCH Inc is a wholly owned subsidiary of PACCAR.  PACCAR Winch Inc manufactures high quality industrial winches, hoists, and drives for the oil/gas, construction, utility and specialty markets.   We have locations in Broken Arrow and Okmulgee, Oklahoma.  Our business is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Store Keeper (forklift operator).   This position is an on-site office position located in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.    #LI-TJ1   

Signing bonus:

  • $1,000.00 bonus is included with this position. 

Schedule:

  • Day Shift
  • Monday-Friday
  • Weekends as needed
  • Several Options Available   

Pay range:

  • $17.66- $22.65
  • Wage is based upon experience and education.  

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position: Storekeeper (Forklift Operator)   

Department: Warehouse                                                       Full-Time/Part-Time: Full

Location: Okmulgee, OK                                                        FLSA:     Non-Exempt Hrly.          

Reports to (Title): Warehouse Supervisor                             Job Code: KB01A

Objective:

  • Responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including fulfilling part orders, keeping warehouse stocked, and inventorying. Maintain clean work area.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

  • Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility.
  • Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks or flatbeds.
  • Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
  • Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.
  • Checking loads are secure.
  • Stacking empty pallets.
  • Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and safety check sheets.
  • Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines.
  • Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards.

Qualifications: 

  • High school Diploma or GED equivalent. 
  • Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license may be required.
  • High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment.
  • Forklift certification per OSHA standards.
  • Must be able to operate Data Collection devices accurately & efficiently within 30 days of beginning in classification.
  • Must be able to read and follow written work instruction.
  • Must be willing to train in and perform multiple tasks as work load requires.
  • Must have the ability, knowledge and confidence to consistently meet or exceed the expected productivity standards for all work performed.

Technical Skills:

  • Must be capable of being certified to operate a Forklift efficiently and safely.
  • Basic computer skills required for the completion of time cards and production information as necessary in a computerized production management system. Must actively demonstrate good housekeeping practices in the work area as well as the entire facility
Physical Demands and Work Environment:

PACCAR Winch is a manufacturer of industrial winches.  Employee is working around heavy machinery.  Employees must be able to operate safely in a busy industrial environment.  Additional physical requirements include standing, walking, bending 90% of the time.  Ability to squat, kneel on both knees, bend forward at the waist and hold hands above head. Must be able to lift 60 pounds, push/pull a minimum of 75 pounds and stand on your feet 8-10 hours per day.
