This position is located in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

Job Summary:
The Quality Supervisor Manages daily activities of Quality Assurance department. Provides leadership, direction and motivation to the team to successfully and effectively work to accomplish operational goals and ensure optimum performance. Plans and oversees machine production. Apply knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, and machining procedures to produce quality precision parts.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
- Assign, train, and supervise inspectors and composes and maintains appropriate inspector instructions and procedures to meet Quality Manual requirements.
- Audit data gathering activities and regularly check the accuracy of data.
- Audit material certifications as required.
- Coordinate incoming quality inspections, rejected material and PPAP activities to ensure balanced workload and timely processing.
- Develop written procedures for inspectors consistent with ISO Standards and ensure inspectors are cross trained on the various job functions. Review and ensure procedures are maintained and updated as processes change.
- Represent the Quality Department in Material Review Board activities with emphasis on initiating corrective action as needed, disposition of the reject ticket and controlling rejected material order to prevent unintended use.
- Audit and oversee inspection of rework and repair work order processes to ensure that the work performed is in accordance with the Material Review Boards instructions.
- Support Customer Service, Warranty and production team members with corrective action for customer returned product, as required.
- In cooperation with the Purchasing Department, manage the first article sample casting and other purchased components or outside machining.
- Performs or participates in Supplier Readiness Reviews and other required supplier surveys as assigned.
- Support the Quality Management System through continuous improvement initiatives, internal audits, initiating and auditing follow up activities for internal corrective actions, and supporting all departments and process owners with controls to ensure stable processes throughout PACCAR Winch.
- Prepare for Customer Quality meetings by managing customer complaints/returns data and corrective/preventive actions.
Qualifications:
- Professional experience in manufacturing, can be supplemented by formal apprenticeship, or equivalent technical training.
- Minimum of 4 years in a quality related position.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor level Degree preferred in Business, Engineering, or related field
Technical Skills:
- Proven team leadership skills. High energy level, goal oriented individual
- Effective conflict resolution skills.
- Strong communication, customer service, documentation, organizational and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of metrology, computer controlled measurement devices, and geometric tolerance techniques.
- Working knowledge of continuous improvement tools and methodologies, training and experience in use of Six Sigma tools a plus.
- Successful record of developing effective work teams, demonstrated technical ability and problem solving skills applied to quality, safety, and process improvements.
- Strong PC and project management skills. Ability to handle multiple assignments and changing priorities.
- Proficient in using MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Thorough understanding of the process approach as described in ISO 9001 standards, interpretation of these requirements and the implementation of ISO 9001 standard throughout a manufacturing system.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
A very mobile position requiring lots of walking on concrete floors. Must be able to bend, squat, reach, and grab parts and inspect machinery. Must be able to wear PPE, personal protective equipment required to move throughout the shop. This position requires mobility around heavy machinery, forklifts, and loud noise.
