Paccar Technical Center seeks an OBD Calibration engineer as part of our Global Engine team to calibrate and optimize OBD engine and aftertreatment functions.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

 

  • Calibrate and optimize OBD engine and aftertreatment functions meeting Customer and Regulatory Requirements 
  • Engineer will need to perform pre calibration work on an engine dyno and apply it to the vehicle level.  
  • Performs diagnostic routines, report findings and gives recommendations in order to improve system reliability and durability.  

Qualifications

 

  • 1 to 3 years Automotive related experience
  • Knowledge of OBD Regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of Powertrain Management Systems
  • Familiar with Calibrating Engine controls
  • Experience with Calibration Engineering Tools
  • Able to write scripts to post process Engineering data
  • Works well independently or in a Team Environment
  • Manage personal workload, capable of multi-tasking
  • Show flexibility to shifting time and project demands
  • Poses excellent analysis and communication skills

Education

 

 

BS in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent
