Global PACCAR Powertrain organization is seeking a motivated Engine Aftertreatment Verification Intern to support testing, verification, and system integration activities for PACCAR’s advanced engine aftertreatment systems.

Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with industry professionals on diesel engine aftertreatment verification and integration projects.
- Execute testing in vehicles and engine test cells to validate aftertreatment system performance.
- Analyze test data, refine analysis tools, and draw meaningful technical conclusions.
- Support continuous improvement efforts through test procedure enhancements and documentation updates.
- Provide recommendations based on test findings to drive next-step decisions.
Qualifications
Required:
- Currently in 3rd or 4th year of a bachelor’s program (graduating 2026–2027) in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Mechatronics), Sciences, or related STEM fields.
- Basic understanding of diesel exhaust aftertreatment technologies (DOC, DPF, SCR, DEF).
- Foundational knowledge of engine control systems and CAN communication networks.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Preferred:
- Experience with data analysis and scripting (MATLAB/Simulink).
- Hands-on experience with data acquisition and calibration tools such as ATI Vision, Vector CANape/CANalyzer, or ETAS INCA.
- Prior involvement in test planning or experimental data processing.
