Service Technician - Evening - MIR

Title : Service Shop Technician

Work location :  Kenworth Mirabel (18160 R. J.-A.-Bombardier, Mirabel, QC J7J 0H5, Canada)

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 3PM to 11:30PM 

Salary: between $34-44/hour + $1.60/hour

Summary of responsibilities:

• Review work orders and discuss them with the supervisor;
• Perform preventive maintenance and general repairs of heavy vehicles;
• Diagnose and repair the pneumatic system, the electrical system and the cabin elements;
• Carry out repairs on all vehicle components;
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components on trucks and trailers;
• Perform scheduled maintenance services such as; oil changes, lubrications and tune-ups

Qualifications:

• DVS in heavy vehicle mechanics or other related field;
• 6+ years of experience in heavy truck mechanics;
• French and English (spoken and reading - functional level) ;
• Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license (class 1 asset);
• Possess a chest with tools as well as a map of the joint committee.
