Requisition Summary

PACCAR is a global truck technology leader with operations around the world. The Digital Solutions team is helping PACCAR make better decisions faster by moving to the cloud, adopting DevOps/CICD best practices, and unlocking a new level of productivity & value.

The Digital Support Engineer is the departments secret weapon. You will be a force multiplier, ensuring that the entire department is aligned, and moving the same direction. In addition to day to day administration tasks, you will be responsible for strategy and execution regarding how the department organizes and communicates work. This includes responsibility for the many tools that are used across the various teams, and the understanding of how all the pieces fit together – then making it better.  Further, you will be responsible for maintaining records regarding the departments critical KPIs, in a fashion that enables their effective use by senior leadership. As such, organizational and communication skills are critical for success in this role. Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Work with the existing team to administrate the suite of tools used by Digital Services, including Jira, DataCamp, Monday, Tableau, LucidChart, PluralSight, and various third party data providers, such as RigDig, Polk, and the Economist. This includes vendor relationships and contract neogtiations/renegotiations.
  • Drive the unified adoption and usage of these tools both within the department and across the enterprise.
  • Develop and implement sustainable, flexible best practices for useage of said tools.
  • Maintain and report out organizational metrics and KPIs.
  • Provision users and manage access permissions in digital systems in accordance with authorization procedures.
  • Recommend, create, and maintain department and product documentation, including resource guide materials, procedures, training tools, and FAQs.
  • Develop and implement a global wiki.
  • Perform routine administrative tasks in support of digital services, including the editing of memos and powerpoints.


  • Familiarity with Agile development techniques, and modern IT practices.
  • Proven ability to organize and communicate across teams / departments / and organizations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter and self-directed learner.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business or related field.
