Dynacraft, a PACCAR Company, is headquartered in McKinney, TX. a suburb of Dallas. Dynacraft is a diversified global manufacturer of PACCAR medium- and heavy-duty truck parts sold under Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF nameplates. For fifty years Dynacraft has provided the company’s truck divisions and PACCAR Parts division with high quality components, subassemblies, and specialized services. Dynacraft has production facilities in Louisville, KY, and McKinney, TX.

Requisition Summary

We are looking for a result-oriented person – the kind of contributor who is willing to get into the details and wants to make a big difference for our business by being a part of developing best-in-class systems solutions to support our diverse business teams.  This position will be coached to research and resolve problems, develop specifications from business requirements, coordinate technical support, and contribute to software and process solutions for Peterbilt IT supported Applications.   The Associate Business Technical Analyst will participate in creating solutions, will develop specifications or process diagrams, produce deliverables related to the project(s) assigned and assists in post implementation support and system enhancements.  This position is will participate in gathering, compiling, testing and synthesizing information with regard to core technology, processes or systems.

Job Functions / Responsibilities & Actions

  • Gain an in-depth knowledge of the business requirements for a project. 
  • Develops and executes functional test cases
  • Works with customers in defining and proposing alternative solutions for changes and break fixes
  • Provides input on solution and business requirement document
  • Gain enough technical details of a project to participate in the estimations process
  • Supports implementation of process improvements, best practices, and high quality solutions
  • Provides system support for production issues by troubleshooting and recommending solutions
  • Performs organizational tasks regarding change control, incident management and audit
  • Works with product owner and customer to identify and document requirements that will be used to produce systems requirements documentation
  • In collaboration with Production Owner communicating project status and issues to senior management and project sponsors
  • Contributes to department process improvement activities
  • Help document and coordinate go-live activities
  • Participate with creating business process diagrams
  • Partners with management across the business for prioritization for planning, building and delivery of features

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2-4 years business or configuration experience in Business Analyst or Developer role
  • Ability to stay organized
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of service and change using Agile Methodologies and Scrum or Kanban
  • Demonstrated skill in decomposing complex efforts and managing them successfully
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate both in verbally and in writing within own team and business
  • Customer service oriented
  • Proven to be able to work well under pressure
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively with little or no supervision

Education/Training Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field preferred
  • ITIL Foundation Certification preferred
  • Advanced project management training, or equivalent work experience preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged sitting and manual dexterity are required.
  • This position is in an office/desk work setting.
  • Ability to travel (up to 10%)
