Requisition Summary

The primary responsibility for the BEV Program Manager will be supporting Battery Electric product planning early feasibility investigations, definitions, and support project implementations. The position will report to the Assistant Director of Business Development. Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Work closely with customers from concept to implementation on new or changing BEV program requirements.
  • Build effective relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Dynacraft, Peterbilt, and Kenworth Division engineering teams, PACCAR Purchasing, External Suppliers and Truck Division Operations to ensure program success.
  • Develop business cases including financial justification.
  • Manage diverse, cross functional teams spanning multiple business functions and geographic locations in the execution of project activities. 
  • Communicate project status and issues to senior management and other stakeholders through reports and presentations as requested.

Qualifications

  • Product and/or Program Management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with varying schedules, shifting priorities, and ambiguity
  • Communication skills, analytical and detail oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, relationship-building, and written and verbal.
  • Creative problem solver with strong application of process improvement methodologies
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Smartsheet or MS Project highly desired
  • Approximately 30% travel

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Engineering or Business Administration.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred.
  • PMP certification not required but must be gained within 12 months of employment PMP
