Requisition Summary

This position is in McKinney, Texas. The ideal candidate is proactive in working with suppliers, customers, and production to ensure material availability, premium freight, surplus and obsolete, and inventory turn goals are met. Fact-based decision-making is a requirement for success.

Dynacraft has production facilities in Algona, WA, Louisville, KY, and McKinney, TX.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Act as subject matter expert (SME) in the design of standards and maintenance of all MRP settings in SAP ECC.
  • Update and maintain all material forecasts based on demand and historical data.
  • Establish and maintain dashboards in visualization software like PowerBI and Tableau.
  • Optimize safety stock levels to balance inventory reduction and service level achievement.
  • Compile and review ABC analysis based on material cost and usage to gauge accurate planning methods to meet departmental goals and plant productivity.
  • Investigate the root cause of shortage situations to ensure the best stocking strategies.
  • Understand and generate Bill of Material (BOM) analysis from Finished Goods to all components level.
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate changes with multiple departments and customers based on data-driven solutions.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvements which impact the materials department through lean and six sigma tool usage.
  • Create and review material department metric reports
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Advanced  Excel skills, hands-on experience on  Power BI or Tableau, and SQL Server.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and flexible in a consistently changing and developing environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills including written, verbal, listening, and presentation are required.
  • SAP Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) knowledge and experience are strongly desired.
  • Knowledge of statistics, supply chain management, distribution practices, EDI, inventory management, and production environments is strongly desired.
  • 1-2 years of material planning experience.
  • 1-2 years experience in visualization software.

Education

  • Four-year degree in business administration, mathematics, supply chain management, or related field required.
