Division Information

Dynacraft, a PACCAR Company, is headquartered in McKinney, TX. a suburb of Dallas. Dynacraft is a diversified global manufacturer of PACCAR medium- and heavy-duty truck parts sold under Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF nameplates. For fifty years Dynacraft has provided the company’s truck divisions and PACCAR Parts division with high quality components, subassemblies, and specialized services. Dynacraft has production facilities in Louisville, KY, and McKinney, TX.

Requisition Summary

This position will help an already strong software development team, Design, Build and Maintain new and existing Dynacraft business applications using primary Microsoft technologies (.Net/SQL), plus work with other Information Technology departments on with Global Applications (SAP).

 

A successful candidate will be highly self-directed, an excellent problem-solver and able to work with all levels of the organization. Strong leadership skills and excellent communication skills are required.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with peers and stakeholders around the world
  • Evaluate business objectives that require new systems or enhancements to existing systems
  • Negotiate and manage project priorities and manage team to ensure the achievement of priorities
  • Manage portfolio of projects to support new products and programs
  • Establish goals and reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align platform services with strategic business needs
  • Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with customers, suppliers, PACCAR peers, and others
  • Coordinate or prepare annual capital and operating budgets required for planning and expense control
  • Embody and promote PACCAR ITD values of Teamwork, Continuous Improvement, Commitment, Openness and Learning 
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team, develop internal talent, mentor, and coach staff, and manage performance

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and prior management responsibilities gained through 7+ years of related experience in progressively responsible roles
  • 5+ years in an analyst or developer role
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor team members to drive continuous improvement and learning
  • Exposure to enterprise application development
  • A big-picture thinker, but can also dig into the details and understand domain area inside and out
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively build strong relationships and interact positively with executive management and team members
  • Passion for building diverse, inclusive, motivated, and collaborative teams
  • Ability to negotiate priorities and timelines with business stakeholders
  • Ability to lead / coach teams using Agile Development Practices

Education

  • B.A. / B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or another related field is required
  • MBA or other advanced degree is highly preferred.
