Requisition Summary

This role will have responsibility for Product life Management and Data Management. The successful candidate will coordinate activities to review and submit bids for new business, review and implement engineering change notifications and ensure system information is accurate. They will also contribute knowledge and expertise of SAP to provide analytical data support to improve and enhance current SAP activities and processes. The manager will ensure timely response to customer requests and ensure that data will be maintained to support new business and changes to existing business as needed.

Candidates must be able to work collaboratively with Material Planning, Business Relations, Engineering, Operations, Quality and Accounting.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Manage Master Data team along with Change Control & New Business Quoting
  • Liaison with Corporate Purchasing/PACCAR Divisions/Internal departments to obtain additional information, drawings, tier 2 quotes, etc.
  • Ensure Bill of Materials & Bill of Process/Routing integrity in SAP.
  • Ensures team performs data quality checks and data cleansing activities to ensure high quality data
  • Support development and testing activities, clarifying requirements and ensuring alignment throughout the entire product life cycle.
  • Ensures quality of master data in key systems, as well as development and documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity. 
  • Review for new parts loading to SAP and coordinate gathering of required master data across functional teams ensuring timely enter of required data elements into SAP.
  • Support Warehouse Management team with any Master Data issues.
  • Complete master data requests in line with service level agreements and respond to queries in a timely fashion.
  • Propose process efficiency improvements in execution of work, automation opportunity, and team processes.
  • Responsible for recruiting and personnel management of master data team
  • Tracking and providing meaningful metrics for team activities

Qualifications & Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, well organized, flexible and able to multi-task and handle the pressure of a high-volume operation
  • Strong computer skills and proficient with Microsoft toolset.
  • Excellent quality of work with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledgeable in Winshuttle workflow, forms and scripting, desired.
  • Ability to stay organized and effective time management are critical to role.
  • Must be good at succinctly defining issues and bringing them quickly to resolution.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. 
  • Self-driven, highly motivated and possesses a positive attitude. 

Education / Training

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.  Master Degree Preferred.
  • Previous experience with SAP as a key user or master data maintenance role in SD/WM modules
  • Six Sigma training desired.
