Requisition Summary

The coordinator reports directly to the Unit Manager at Dynacraft. This position works collaboratively with the leadership team to support division’s goals and initiatives. Responsibilities in this area require working independently, maintaining confidentiality, and using good judgement while providing operational, administrative, project, and office technology support with minimal direction. This position will perform other duties as assigned by the management team.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the timely preparation and issuance of purchase order for MRO Products and services for Dynacraft departments. 
  • Route and distribute Purchase Orders for additional approval in accordance with established authority matrices. 
  • Manage all aspects of relationships with suppliers of MRO products and services, including the commercial and contractual requirements with respect to total cost, quality, delivery, and customer service. 
  • Support locating sources of supply, obtaining quotations, bids, and purchases assigned items in accordance with price, quality, and schedule standards. 
  • Identify areas of opportunity to consolidate and streamline purchasing related activities being conducted at other PACCAR locations divisions. 
  • Develop, negotiate, and implement strategies resulting in reduced product or service cost, improved supply chain performance and enhanced product and service quality. 
  • Issue change orders on product price, specification, quantity, etc. within established limits of authority. 
  • Monitor receipt of desired product quality and quantity, report deficiencies and implement corrective action, as necessary. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including ability to professionally interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Always maintains confidentiality and exercises discretion and diplomacy.
  • Works independently within scope of responsibilities, anticipates problems, and uses sound judgement to act appropriately.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail, a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Demonstrates ability to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Should demonstrate a willingness to take on new challenges, learn skills to contribute to the organization, and be confident in identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Previous supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience with SAP preferred.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate degree preferred but not required.
