Division Information

PACCAR’s Information Technology Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice and data communications services to the entire Corporation, which has high visibility in the technology sector.

 

The Role/Team

Global Connected Services department aims to implement Connected Services within the PACCAR network, to position them competitively and to realize the Business Case.

 

Within Connected Services, the Services Development department has the goal of defining Connected Services/Features for the benefit of Customers, Dealers and PACCAR internal organizations, ensuring that these Service /Features are delivered in the right quality and then transferring them for market introduction.

Job Functions/Responsibilities

The world of connectivity into trucks is fairly new. Further developing and managing these new services with a team of program/project managers in a multidisciplinary team will be your task.

 

As a PMO Manager, you are responsible for the correct design and organization of your project(s). You contribute to its definition, management and delivery within the preconditions of scope, quality, effort, risks and time. You facilitate the agile program processes and their execution, escalate impediments, manage risk, and help drive program-level continuous improvement. Helping facilitate the flow of work in an Agile environment from product idea through design-build-test-operate for complex customer focused, business critical applications that use a range of cutting-edge technologies.

  • You are jointly responsible for ensuring that the developed application or system is properly embedded in the receiving organizations (IT operational management, Business application management)
  • Any necessary process changes for this (both IT and Business) are also managed from within the project
  • You are responsible for PMO project/program reporting, governance, PMO team and coordination with clients and business partners
  • You will be managing approx. six (6) Program/Project Managers
  • Working on both Software and Hardware projects

 

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience with proven achievements as a program/project manager in complex, multidisciplinary projects
  • You are enthusiastic, result-oriented, pro-active attitude and you have very good communication skills
  • Analytically trained and have a structured approach
  • Experience in Automotive/Commercial Vehicle
  • Have several years of work experience in technology projects
  • Knowledge of automotive engineering, technology and connected services business areas is a big plus
  • Have extensive project management/PMO experience and PMI PMP/SAFe 5 Certification
  • Further necessary competencies are initiative, team building, customer-oriented working, persuasiveness and decisiveness

 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology, Business, or related discipline required; Master's degree preferred

Additionally, this role is eligible for a full range of benefit options listed above. This position is also eligible for a holiday gift.
