The Role

Global Connected Services is seeking a highly motivated Market and Pricing Analyst for Connectivity Services.  This position will be located in Lewisville, TX.

Becoming a global technology leader in the design, manufacture and customer support of premium light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks doesn’t happen overnight! We are seeking a market and pricing analyst who will be responsible for developing our pricing strategy for our connectivity offerings, supporting our NA truck divisions, Kenworth and Peterbilt.

 

Job Functions/ Responsibilities

  • Perform competitive market analysis across the industry and competitive landscape  
  • Create a SWOT analysis inclusive of our current and proposed connectivity portfolio
  • Research and analyze other industry packaged connectivity offerings and report on findings
  • Create ad-hoc reporting and dashboards of the landscape for management
  • Provide data analysis and recommendations to support pricing initiatives and packages based on market analysis
  • Interact with customers and dealers to identify connectivity packages and provide feedback to Product Managers and management
  • Work with internal representatives from Marketing, Engineering, and Corporate Purchasing to provide input on pricing with connectivity suppliers
  • Additional requirements as the role becomes more defined

 

 Qualifications

  • Experience developing connectivity pricing strategies
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work effectively with a variety of people and functions
  • Experience in a technology or software environment
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Able to work collaboratively to complete projects
  • Capability to analyze ambiguous and complex information and make sound business decisions
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, or other similar business system

 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Technology, or Engineering preferred
