Division Information
PACCAR’s Information Technology Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice and data communications services to the entire Corporation, which has high visibility in the technology sector.
The Role
Connected Vehicle Services Marketing and Sales team is responsible for promoting how PACCAR is revolutionizing the vehicle ownership experience with the development of innovative services delivered to connected-enabled vehicles. Responsibilities include defining connected vehicle service offerings, ensuring a consistent user experience across brands and channels, developing and executing go-to-market strategies of new services, and business development of the eco system of connected third party services.
The Connected Services Marketing Manager is part of Global team responsible for the creation and execution of marketing and sales strategies to realize revenue targets. We are looking for a strong commercial personality that is able to enhance existing commercial relationships and find new markets where our data and platforms add value.
Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to develop competitive positioning, identify new markets and customers, monitor demand for products and services, and track the effectiveness of marketing strategies and campaigns
- Conduct pricing research and analysis to ensure competitive product and service pricing
- Work closely with the product teams to develop accurate sales forecasts that ensure the sale and profitability of connected services
- Develop go-to-market strategies with corresponding value propositions, including launch and captivity tactics, that drive customer value and monetization opportunities
- Work with cross-functional marketing teams across PACCAR to support go-to-market plans
- Develop and execute programs that ensure customer account activations, increase portal utilization, and drive subscription renewals
- Create and deliver effective product training programs for dealers, customers, and internal PACCAR stakeholders
- Manage the customer journey to ensure an excellent customer experience
- Collaborate, participate, and coordinate in trade shows and other promotional activities
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the connected services product area
- Manage and supervise up to five individuals
- This role reports to the Global Director Marketing & Sales, GCS
- Ability to work flexible schedule as business needs dictate
- Ability to travel between 25-50%
Qualifications
• 5+ years related experience; B2B Connected Services & Automated Services preferred
• Knowledge of the principles of business management and processes of transport companies and dealerships
• Knowledge of and experience in the field of Connected Services
• Proven leadership, analytical, and business development skills
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with proven ability to influence others
• Supervisory experience preferred
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing; Master’s degree preferred
