Kenworth Truck Company is the manufacturer of The World’s Best® heavy and medium duty trucks. Job Summary

The Technical Support Analyst provides technical support to system users and customer support staff. Evaluates user needs, defines technical problems, and works with IT staff to determine solutions. This position will perform ongoing activities to maintain and enhance overall technical performance.

 

Here's what you will do in this role:

  • Coordinate, configure and ensure compliance of Kenworth Division accounts
  • Active Directory maintenance and AD Group Verification
  • Audit support, SOX Reviews and Testing
  • Software licensing database and ad hoc requests for information (Users, Vendors, Management)
  • Windows 10 desktop support
  • Install and Remove Software
  • Projects as assigned

 

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Must have a working knowledge and understanding of Windows networking and operating systems including web protocols, WINS, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, DFS, AD, and replication.
  • Experience using Active Directory and system security tools
  • Experience researching and implementing new technologies and applying knowledge to solve business problems
  • Must have strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and a team approach
  • Ability and willingness to work occasional off-hours and weekends
  • Must be self-motivated and self-starter with the ability to lead others as well as work with minimal or no supervision; able to work with others in high pressure situations to solve problems

 

 

Preferred Skills:

  • MCSE certification a plus.
  • SQL skills a plus.
  • Windows 2007/2010/2013/2016 systems administration experience a plus
