Summary

Sales Planning supports the Fleet Sales Managers, Region Sales Managers and District Sales Managers to conquest new business opportunities and to successfully grow existing business. The Sales Pricing Analyst is responsible for completing data analytics to maintain and support the pricing tool used by the Kenworth Sales team. This role will own and maintain the customer master database. The Sales Pricing Analyst will work closely with the Sales Planning team to ensure data integration with other sales applications such as Sales Dashboards, CARs, Prospector, Vehicle Registration and Mobile Applications.


Job Functions / Responsibilities

·        Run on-going analytics to develop and recommend heavy duty and medium duty pricing guidelines.

·        Update and maintain pricing guidelines with business changes such as program pricing updates, new product releases and strategic price shift decisions.

·        Responsible for updates of pricing tool logic and user interface.

·        Owns customer name master database and ensures name consistency throughout all Sales applications.

·        Supports measurement of pricing discretion at individual and regional levels.

·        Responsible for training new users on Pricing tool.

·        Serves as back-up to Fleet Sales Analyst for Kenworth Sales dashboards and ad hoc reporting requests.

·         Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

·         Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or other related area required.

·         Strong analytical aptitude with skills on platforms such as Excel, Access/Alteryx.

·         Basic Tableau knowledge a plus.

·         Basic understanding of the business context and how pricing decisions are developed.

·         Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions based on various factors.

·         Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced, changing environment.

·         Strong attention to detail.

·         Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
