Position Summary


Fleet Sales Analyst supports the Fleet Sales Managers, Region Sales Managers and District Sales Managers to conquest new business opportunities and to successfully grow existing business. The Fleet Sales Analyst is responsible for completing data analysis utilizing Polk data and other data resource tools to provide geographical registration information to identify growth opportunities within the Commercial heavy duty and medium duty truck industry. This role will assist the Sales Managers and Technical Fleet Manager on customer research utilizing on-line resources and maintain the top Kenworth Conquest lists for each region. The Fleet Sales Analyst will be back-up to the Sales Operations Analyst and take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the Sales Planning department.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Support sales team with account planning by managing Smartsheet folders and providing background customer information from POLK and Fleetseek.
  • Manage Tableau sales dashboards for Kenworth sales team.
  • Utilize industry data to develop Region reporting on monthly commercial vehicle registrations.
  • Generate dealer segmentation and market opportunity graphs.
  • Respond to management requests for ad hoc information and analysis utilizing database tools and resources.
  • Maintain Kenworth’s top conquest account list with current customer data
  • Support requests to research cost and pricing data between departments for top fleets.
  • Serve as a backup to the Sales Operations Analyst.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or other related area required. 
  • Strong analytical aptitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions based on various factors.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Experience using analytical platforms such as Excel and Access.
  • Working knowledge of Tableau.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
