PACCAR Leasing (PLC)
PACCAR Leasing, a PACCAR division, was founded in 1980 to provide premium Kenworth and Peterbilt vehicles to leasing and rental customers. Requisition Summary

Job Functions / Responsibilities

Some of the duties can be, but not limited to the following:

  • Communicating with customers as a part of the check-in and check-out process
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspection of truck-tractor components.
  • Complete work order paperwork to reflect hours, parts and lube, which are utilized within each job function.
  • Ability to work independently, with flexibility to support other technicians to create efficiencies to meet customer needs
  • Perform diagnostic inspections on general truck-tractor systems utilizing both mechanical diagnostics and system software diagnostics.
  • Ability to repair more complex issues with truck-trailer, not limited to wiring issues, advance level component replacements, etc. 
  • Ability to make road calls for customers that are not able to make it into the service center

Qualifications & Skills

 

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Safety conscious and knowledge of general shop safety.
  • Capable of completing job functions without repeat repairs.
  • In-depth knowledge of NHTSA rules and regulations.
  • Additional education or ASE certificates from college or trade schools are preferred.
  • 6+ years of truck-trailer experience.
  • DOT and CDL licenses are required.
