Requisition Summary

The Peterbilt Warranty team has a position available for a Warranty Manager. This exciting position will lead the claims processing team by providing guidance and prioritization of daily activities and be a champion for continuous improvement. This position works directly with dealers, suppliers, and the management team to exceed performance goals.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Review and implement warranty policies and procedures for Peterbilt dealers.
  • Evaluate warranty performance and provide insights for decision-making, including identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Offer support and guidance to dealers on warranty-related matters.
  • Ensure proper training for warranty analysts and dealer personnel to ensure compliance with warranty guidelines and practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address warranty concerns, improve product quality, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain and improve Supplier Recovery percentage and dollars.
  • Represent Peterbilt in negotiating and maintaining PACCAR Supplier Warranty Support Agreements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the warranty claim process.
  • 5% travel can be expected for this position

Qualifications

  • 8+ years’ experience with Class 8 truck manufacturer, including exposure to parts and service functions; knowledge of manufacturing processes and warranty is a plus.
  • Strong managerial skills, including innovate, plan, organize, direct, control.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to write effective, concise technical and policy documentation.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Ability to professionally interact with all levels of management.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to negotiate with different individuals and successfully persuade them to adopt recommended positions.

Education

Bachelor's Degree Required.

Master's Degree Preferred.
