Requisition Summary
Develop, author, and publish technically informative bulletins, field repair documents, Federal Safety and Emissions Recalls, and other information intended for Peterbilt dealer service technicians and customers.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
• Write, edit, and coordinate the production of written information
• Serve as liaison between multiple internal and external groups
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines
• Lead cross-functional meetings to drive multiple complex processes to completion
• Drive for results within a dynamic environment with pressing deadlines
• Define vehicle populations and customer address lists for field actions using Excel, Tableau,
internal systems and external resources
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication
• Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
• 3-5 years industry experience
• Strong organizational and schedule management skills
• Ability to work on diverse projects with minimal guidance
• Effective interpersonal skills and a team player
• Attention to detail
• Strong computer skills with MS Word, Excel, and SharePoint
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
• BA/BS or equivalent experience
• Broad knowledge of truck systems and components
• Engineering, manufacturing, truck diagnostic repair, or dealer experience
• Understanding of dealer service technician needs
• Technical writing experience or education
• Working knowledge of Smartsheet and Tableau software
