Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Provides direction of time and work sequence studies and reviews/recommends adjustments to manufacturing operations.
  • Perform labor analysis of truck assembly operations using engineered software and/or other work measurement techniques.
  • Provide accounting reports, analysis and input to plant and division accounting as well as division marketing for costing and pricing.
  • Organize and analyze data gathered to support cost reduction activities, typical truck modelling, base models, and labor comparisons withing the corporation.
  • Maintains control documents per ISO requirements.
  • May perform other related duties/special projects as assigned.

Skills / Competencies


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or appropriate major preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of personal computers, including Excel, Word, Access and Powerpoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of bills of materials, COPICS, routings, coption structuring and order processing system
  • Knowledge of truck assembly processes preferred
  • Demonstrated ability gained through 3-5 years in related assignments, preferably processing 2-3 years with PACCAR
