Requisition Summary

The role of the Client Operations Supervisor is to lead and manage a team of IT Client Technicians.  This includes guiding the client support team to provide timely resolution of enterprise incidents and service requests and establishing daily practices and procedures that ensure the smooth delivery of IT Services.  To accomplish this, the Client Operations Supervisor will provide outstanding customer service to PACCAR users, develop and train team members to provide outstanding customer service, and diligently pursue achievement of department goals.

Skills / Competencies

  • PACCAR IT or manufacturing experience desired.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Server operating systems, Microsoft Active Directory, and Microsoft Network infrastructure.
  • Technical understanding and use of structured query language – specifically Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Strong technical knowledge of protocols, and standards, including TCP/IP, WINS, DNS, DHCP, DFS, Bluetooth, and 802.11x.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment such as PLC’s, Fluid Fill, Data Link Adaptors, Robotics, and software such as Rockwell, Allen Bradley, Fanuc, and MES.
  • Technical understanding of commercial truck protocols such as J1939, J1708 and RP1210 compliant devices.
  • Technical understanding of testing, programming, and diagnostic equipment/software such as CHET, SMET, ESA, VEPS, ABSVS, CUMMINS Insite, Caterpillar ET, Allison DOC, Eaton Service Ranger, Bendix ACOM, NEXIQ and PACCAR DAVIE. 
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Provide management and technical direction to team members.
  • Attend weekly department management meetings providing team status and project status.
  • Work alongside team as required to perform break-fix.
  • Create and track, performance, workload, and corrective action plans.
  • Escalate and manage C-Level incidents and requests
  • Coordinate the purchase, tracking, and delivery of IT client assets which includes PCs, Tablets, iPhones, and other desktop hardware.
  • Participate in planning and implementing Tier 1 client projects
  • Provide weekly reporting of significant accomplishments
  • Perform annual performance reviews for team members.
  • Schedule and coordinate work schedules to ensure adequate staff are available to meet the business needs and address attendance deficiencies.
  • Coordinate HR actions to ensure IT services are performed on time and technology requirements are understood.

Education

  • Undergraduate degree and 10 years related work experience in an IT position.
  • CompTIA A+Certification Desired
  • ITIL or ITSM Certification Desired

Strong technical knowledge of PC and mobile operating systems, including Windows 10, iPhone IOS
