This position is based at Peterbilt’s Division office in Denton, Texas, where we have been headquartered since 1980. In Denton, we have manufactured, supported, and distributed over 1 million trucks. Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Prepare and review month-end journal entries for fixed assets and general accounting.
• Perform and review reconciliations for various accounts.
• Supervise and support general accounting staff.
• Prepare tooling and fixed asset reviews.
• Perform fixed asset additions and disposals.
• Assist in SOX & ICAP testing.
• Perform corporate reporting for stats and fixed asset cash flows.
• Participate in annual physical inventories.
• Initiate process improvements and assist with special projects.
• Up to 5% travel can be expected

Skills

• Previous supervisory experience.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Must be comfortable making oral presentations to peers and management.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel.
• Strong organizational skills required to manage various projects.
• Deadline-driven and self-motivated.

Qualifications

Required: 

• BS/BA Accounting Degree or related Bachelor's Degree required.
• 4 + years of relevant accounting experience.

Preferred: 

• Master’s degree preferred.
• CPA/CMA certification.
